Ford Wyoming Drive-In / Dearborn, MI
The largest operating drive-in in the country. Five screens, 2,500-car capacity, and open year-round, including through Michigan winters. It’s been running since 1950.
Starlight 6 Drive-In / Atlanta, GA
Four screens in the heart of Atlanta, operating since 1949. One of the few urban drive-ins left in the country. Admission is $10 for adults and just $1 for kids ages 5-9, making it one of the best deals in the Southeast.
Capitol Drive-In / San Jose, CA
Six screens, open since 1952, and it doubles as the Capitol Flea Market during the day. Part of the West Wind chain, it’s one of the largest drive-ins on the West Coast.
Silver Moon Drive-In / Lakeland, FL
Two screens, open seven nights a week, year-round, since 1948. Sitting between Tampa and Orlando, the Silver Moon has been continuously running for over 75 years. It also hosts a weekend swap shop.
Spud Drive-In / Driggs, ID
A single screen with the Teton Range as its backdrop. The most scenic drive-in in America, full stop. Open since 1953, it was rebuilt after a windstorm in 2022 and also offers overnight lodging on the property.
Boulevard Drive-In / Kansas City, KS
The first drive-in in the world to install digital sound and 4K projection. Open since 1950 with room for 600 cars and a weekend swap shop. Cash only at the gate.
Tibbs Drive-In / Indianapolis, IN
Four screens on the south side of Indianapolis. The only drive-in in the city and one of the largest in Indiana. Runs double features on all four screens from March through October.
88 Drive-In / Commerce City, CO
The last original drive-in in the Denver metro area. A single screen, 500-car capacity, open since 1972, and they show two to three movies per night. Kids under 12 are free.
Stars and Stripes Drive-In / Lubbock, TX
Three screens, 1,000-car capacity, and part of a chain that operates multiple drive-ins across Texas. Modern amenities with a classic drive-in feel. Open since 2003.
Elm Road Triple Drive-In / Warren, OH
Family-owned since 1950 with three screens running double features. One of the best-maintained drive-ins in Ohio, which has 23 operating theaters, the third most of any state.
Stardust Drive-In Theatre / Watertown, TN
A twin-screen drive-in about 45 minutes east of Nashville. Opened in 2003, it runs one of the longest seasons in Tennessee, from April through December, and has a full-service kitchen.
Mendon Twin Drive-In / Mendon, MA
Two screens, a snack bar, and a beer garden on 16 acres about 40 minutes southwest of Boston. The closest drive-in to the city and a summer staple in New England.
Pride’s Corner Drive-In / Westbrook, ME
The largest capacity in Maine at 550 cars and one of the best deals in the country at $20 per carload. Just outside Portland, open since 1953. They even do a Christmas movie event in November.
Meadow Bridge Drive-In / Meadow Bridge, WV
The smallest drive-in in West Virginia. 180 cars, one screen, cash only, no outside food. Open since 1953 near the New River Gorge. It’s the opposite of a mega-theater, and that’s exactly why people love it.
Four Brothers Drive-In / Amenia, NY
In the Hudson Valley about two hours north of New York City. Opened in 2013 as part of a restaurant and entertainment complex run by four brothers. Proof that new drive-ins can still open and thrive.
