Maryland has one drive-in theater, the Bengies Drive-In in Middle River just east of Baltimore.
View All Drive-InsThe Bengies has been open since 1956 and sits on Eastern Boulevard about 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore. It has a single screen that the owners claim is the largest outdoor movie screen in the country. Sound is on 105.3 FM, and the season runs from April through October.
The theater typically shows triple features on weekends, making it one of the few drive-ins anywhere that regularly programs three movies in a night. It's the last drive-in standing in Maryland, which once had dozens of outdoor theaters across the state.
