View All Drive-InsThe Mendon Twin Drive-In on Milford Street in Mendon is the closest to Boston, about 40 minutes southwest of the city. It sits on 16 acres and has two screens, a snack bar, and a beer garden. Sound on FM radio.
The Wellfleet Drive-In on Route 6 in Wellfleet is Cape Cod's only drive-in. Open since 1957, it has a 100-foot screen and shows first-run double features nightly during the summer. The complex also hosts a flea market and mini-golf course. Sound on 89.5 FM.
The Northfield Drive-In on the Massachusetts-New Hampshire state line serves the western part of the state. Built in 1948 with the projection booth technically in New Hampshire, it has a single screen and fits 500 cars. All three theaters run seasonally.
