Arkansas has two drive-in theaters, both in the Ozark region of north-central Arkansas about an hour apart.

The Kenda Drive-In on Westwood Drive in Marshall has been open since 1966. It has a single screen and shows double features on weekends during the season with sound on FM radio. Marshall is the county seat of Searcy County.

The Stone Drive-In on Theatre Lane in Mountain View runs from March through October. Also a single-screen theater, it broadcasts sound on FM radio and opens the box office an hour before showtime. Mountain View is known as the folk music capital of the Ozarks.

Both theaters serve a rural part of the state where indoor movie theaters are scarce. The nearest major cities are Little Rock, about 100 miles south, and Springfield, Missouri, about 90 miles north.
