Drive-Ins Near Seattle
Seattle has no drive-in within city limits, but three options are reachable from the metro area, each requiring either a ferry ride or a longer drive.
View Drive-InsThe closest is the Rodeo Triple Drive-in in Bremerton, across Puget Sound on the Kitsap Peninsula. Taking the Bremerton ferry from downtown Seattle makes it about a 90-minute trip door to door, or roughly 60 miles by car around the south end of the Sound. With three screens and room for 1,000 cars, it is the largest drive-in in the Pacific Northwest and runs from March through October.
The Blue Fox Drive-in in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island is about 80 miles north. It operates year-round and adds go-karts, an arcade, and a pizzeria to the movie experience. Reaching it means crossing Deception Pass Bridge or catching a ferry from Mukilteo.
The Wheel-in Motor Movie in Port Townsend, about 70 miles northwest via the Kingston ferry, is a smaller 154-car operation open April through October. All three make for a good day trip with a movie to cap the evening.
