Open since 1951, the Rustic has three screens and holds 550 cars on Route 146. It runs from April through October with sound on FM radio and digital projection on all screens. As the only outdoor theater in the state, it draws from across the Providence metro, including Pawtucket, Cranston, and Woonsocket. The drive up Route 146 is straightforward, and the theater's three screens mean there's usually a good selection of first-run double features to choose from on any given weekend.
