Drive-Ins Near Omaha

Nebraska has just one drive-in, and it is a long drive from Omaha: the TK-Starlite in Neligh, about 160 miles northwest.

The TK-Starlite is a single-screen theater on US-275 that has been open since 1952 and fits around 300 cars. It shows double features on weekends from spring through fall, with sound on 89.9 FM. Getting there from the metro takes roughly two and a half hours on US-275 through Columbus and Norfolk. It is more of a road-trip destination than a casual weeknight outing, but it is the closest drive-in to Omaha in any direction. Council Bluffs residents can also look east to Iowa's drive-ins, with the Valle in Newton about 150 miles away.
