Drive-Ins Near Indianapolis

Indianapolis has a four-screen drive-in inside the city and three more within about 30 miles, giving the metro area solid coverage for outdoor movies.

The Tibbs Drive-In on South Tibbs Avenue is the only drive-in within city limits. It runs four screens with double features from March through October, making it one of the larger operations in the state. Sound broadcasts on FM radio.

The Skyline Drive-In in Shelbyville, about 30 miles southeast, has one of the longest seasons of any Indiana drive-in, running from March all the way through December. The CenterBrook Drive-In between Martinsville and Mooresville is roughly 30 miles southwest and has been open since 1950, showing double features on a single screen. The Georgetown Drive-In in Georgetown, also about 30 miles southwest, has two screens and still has working drive-in window speakers alongside its FM radio system.
