Drive-Ins Near Detroit
The Detroit metro has four drive-in options ranging from a massive five-screen complex in Dearborn to a seasonal pop-up in Plymouth.
View Drive-InsThe Ford Wyoming Drive-in is the closest, about 10 miles west of downtown in Dearborn. With five screens and room for 2,500 cars, it is one of the largest drive-ins in the country and one of the few that operates year-round. The Summer Drive-in at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, roughly 25 miles west, sets up three screens in the arena parking lot from June through August. Memory Lane in Monroe, about 40 miles south near the Ohio border, is a twin-screen theater that opened in 2021. Farther out, the US 23 Drive-in in Flint is about 60 miles north and has been running since 1952 with three screens. All four broadcast sound over FM radio.
