Drive-Ins Near Dallas

The Dallas area's main drive-in option is the Galaxy Drive-in Theatre in Ennis, about 35 miles south of downtown off I-45.

The Galaxy runs seven screens year-round, seven nights a week, making it one of the largest drive-ins in the country by screen count. For something closer to Fort Worth, the Coyote Drive-in operates four screens near the Trinity River, roughly 30 miles west of downtown Dallas. The Brazos Drive-in in Granbury, about an hour southwest, is a single-screen theater that's been open since 1952.
