The American Dream Drive-in has been running since 1948 on Road 9 outside Powell. It is a single-screen theater with room for about 200 cars, open seasonally during the warmer months. Sound comes through FM radio, and the projection is digital. The drive from Cody takes about 30 minutes north on Highway 14A.
