Nevada Drive-Ins
Nevada has two drive-in theaters, both part of the West Wind chain. One is in the Reno area and the other in Las Vegas.
View All Drive-InsThe El Rancho Drive-In in Sparks, just east of Reno, has four screens and fits 550 cars. The Westwind Las Vegas 6 in North Las Vegas has six screens and fits 950 cars, making it one of the largest drive-ins in the country. Both run year-round thanks to the desert climate, and both broadcast sound on FM radio.
Nevada's two drive-ins sit in its two largest metro areas, which between them hold the vast majority of the state's population. The dry weather and mild winters keep both locations open when most drive-ins in other states are shut down for the season.
