The Fort Union sits on 7th Street and has been open since 1951. It has a single screen with room for 340 cars and runs from April through October. Sound is on 88.7 FM. Las Vegas, New Mexico is about an hour east of Santa Fe on Interstate 25, not to be confused with Las Vegas, Nevada.

The theater is named for Fort Union National Monument, a historic frontier military post about 25 miles to the north. It's the only drive-in still operating in New Mexico.
