Delaware has no operating drive-in theaters. The state's last drive-in closed in 2008. At the peak in the 1950s, all three Delaware counties had at least one, with nine operating statewide.

In Pennsylvania, Shankweiler's Drive-in near Allentown is the oldest drive-in still operating in the US, and several others are within a two-hour drive of northern Delaware.
